Checking Scanner is working or not

Hi All,

Here I am going to explain you about "What and How to check whether your scanner is working or not" ?(if you are unable to scan from your computer )

Sollution :  If you are unable to scan from your computer....

1) Check whether the power cable of the scanner is connected and it is turned on
2) Check the cable between the scanner and the computer is connected...
3) Check whether the drivers of your scanner has installed in the computer or not...

if the above  steps are correct then follow the below steps :

First we need to check the communication between the computer and the scanner....

We can check the communication by using the MS Paint application...

1. Open MS Paint
2. Click on File ---> From Scanner or Camera
3. There you can select the scanner from the list of available icons
4. Click on Scan and select the print settings
5. If you are able to scan from MS Paint....then your scanner is working fine..if it is not check for manufacturers warranty if it is not under warranty plan for servicing or buy a new one...
